SWG Battlefield sploit


From the Oboards im sure its on here but again maybe worth posting again here!

You can get your character to attack through walls by doing the next:

Once you log into the battlefield, you mount a bike or pet and then you position yourself behind the building in front of which you enter. Once the battlefield starts you will be pulled through this building to the point where your team starts. After you have been pulled through that building you should be able to shoot through any of the walls in the battlefield.


Its not, position yourself behind the building in front of which you enter will only give you a faster "slingshot start" forward when the Battle start.

The shoot through the walls thing are a Server/Client side synchronization issue ware the Server/Client cant mach etch other fast enough so it looks like a player stand some ware on your screen wile the player are some ware else on he's.

The crossed out part isn't true.

What happens is, you're driving 'full speed' into the building that you're behind, and when the BF starts, you are warpped to the start point, and are already moving full speed on your bike; End result, you get up the hill .5 seconds faster than someone moving from a standstill. Hardly an exploit.

The shoot through walls part is inaccurate.

Smuggler Mission Exploit


When you have a smuggler mission that is not on planet, you can use the vet reward Yacht. This is a non combat ship, and it will cause your mission to bug. When you launch your yacht, and hyperspace to the system for your mission, within a minute the mission will complete. No need to land or do anything else.

Now before you jump to conclusions and call me a SOE fanboy lets take this into perspective!

13 servers are still running after Oct 15 thats a preety good size list of servers running! Yes Star wars the old republic will take more players away from SWG but really for how long? From what I have seen so far Star wars the old republic does not have the open world like SWG has for starters! Also could this be the start of classic servers? The EMU is almost done so most of the code is right there almost completed for SOE to use.

Here is also some food for thought awhile ago SOE made a mistake in listing other SWG servers on Station Launcher there was 9 I think. I tried to find it but after all the news today and the EMU its kind of lost inside google lol. These were said to be for Q & A and the devs well now they might have 21 alltogether. Could something actually be in the works here or could it be wishful thinking? SOE The Agency has allready failed before it had a chance for release to the public. There was talks and rumors that I would not call rumors since all SOE mods were told not to delete conversations about SOE's new web based Star Wars mmo (like free realms).

SOE will have to do something and it needs to be big. rumor is also planetside will be closing its doors really giving SOE 2 games that have subs over 50k that is EQ and EQ2 im not including free realms either. This will be intresting to watch either we will have SOE really fall flat on there faces again or we might get something big out of all the consolidating they have been doing!

Unlimited Exceptional Eggs

When you first create a toon, you are instructed to talk to the droid and get gun from cabnet,

B4 u do anything the 3 crates next to each other,
Make a macro targeting the 1 of the crates

/Search;

/macro
........................

Works great if you can multilog, leave the toon up doing it for a coupple hr's or a few day's, ive been doing it for a few days now and have 6k Exceptional Eggs,

Im sure these can make a good sell price, selling them 30 stacks

SWG Exploits - 100k Exp repeatable

Don't know if this was posted before but, I know that Fragments of the Past quest is repeatable before you go to obi wan's trials if you only do frags part 1 and 2 then delete 3 and rinse and repeat. Well, I completed it to try to repeat Obi Wan. Obi Wan seemed no longer repeatable and I was stuck with no more repeatable quests. Until a guildie of mine said you CAN repeat Fragments 1 and 2 even AFTER you complete Obi Wan's crap. I have tried this and it works and I'm doing it as I write this.


IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT THEN DISREGARD THIS NEXT PART
Go to the camp where San'sii the Kursk Spawns and inside one of those little bunker lookin long houses theres "An Old Box". Inspect it and youll get the mission. You'll see a gazebo lookin palace arch where San'sii spawns. Your backpack will hum and youll get a popup. Gather the Splinters in the right corner near a pillar. Then you'll activate Fragments of the Past 2. Now there's a treasure hunter camp near there with a dude named Xos lvl 88 silver elite Jedi wearing elder robes. Make sure you go to the back of the camp to get the humming message then kill Xos. Then go to the Tulrus Nesting Grounds inside near the back/near Sher Kar entrance if you know where that is, and kill a giant tulrus named Magma Horn. Then go near the Old Republic Facility at the top right corner of the map and when you get there go to the right side of the facility and you'll see splinters that look like the previous ones. You should get the humming message and gather the splinters. Then go towards the Storm Lord area which is the very center right of the map and get the humming message near Phantom Bandits and kill them until you get the splinters then you get the 100k exp!!!!!

Miner glitches and secrets


If you are hanging out in rustus, and your guild war rival appears. (you know he\'ll beat you) take a short cut to get a few hundred meters on him by transporting to your factional base.

This is done by walking up to one of the forward facing walls. Be on the inside of it, and on the side your factional base is on, facing out from the starpoart, imperials are on the left, rebels are on the right. Type /unstick in order to teleport to freedom.

What if he saw you there and followed you, your stuck in your bases right? wrong, hop on a bike, car, mount, or droid while hugging the wall, and float right through it.

Dang it, he saw that one also, he\'s still following you, why not lag him out, hit the macro on your toolbar to use your secret weapon, he\'ll LD while you escape.
The items needed for the macro is just a PSG (personal shield generator) put that in an open spot on your toolbar. Then use this macro.

Every half second it\'ll tripple in lag. But be careful if u let it go to long, u may lag out all of the planet, or surver. Today on TC I crashed my computer and lagged out most of everyone elses, when I typed the /dump macro wich I\'ll put in a second it said 9997 pause commands.

And also make sure you have atleast the dump macro on your toolbar, or else it may lag to much for you to type it, making you crash like me.

SWG Scripts - New RE script. Flawless!!


I have recently created a Reverse Engineering script to automatically create +35 powerbits and move them when finished. I also have it compensate for lag.
Screenshots will come later, as the servers are currently down!
I have only tested this with tailor, it does not include the check for items without sockets, as I have never had this happen to me.


Don't forget to turn off "Allow object icon rotation" in your options under interface in options
Turn on Option->Interface->"Dragging onto containers puts item into container (instead of reordering items)"

I have written this script myself, and this is its first public release.

The end of SWG?


Well if you read the O boards you will ntice allot of talk about the game shutting down. Im not here to say the game is doomed or its not doomed I am here to give some insight on who to watch for news.

So lets start with the 2 people to watch for and see what they post!

This got many thinking that there is about one year left in SWG! SWG should be able to last through TOR and a few years after words if not longer. Some really big deciding factors though players will have to conider with SOE.

What needs to be considered here are a few things for starters for the game to end. SOE denies for starters any expansion that is in the making currently. For the most part that is true they atleast though have one expansion done and completed if not 2! The first expansion that was near completion was when the NGE hit for that summer. This expansion would have opened up Tanaab that is allready in the TRE files. The second expansion is also completed although never confirmed as a SOE project. That is City In the Skies



Here is what to actually look for if this game is going to stick around. There is rumor out there that SOE is rather upset with Lucas Arts for giving Bioware TOR and yes it is confirmed SOE did put a bid on this one! If the rumor is correct there is a lawsuit against Lucas Arts over all this the agreement was that SOE was going to host all of SOE's mmo needs this is key if SWG will survive. The reason that is is its SOE's move on what is done next and close to time of release they do for TOR.

So here is what I think will take place! We will see a GCW update around next year with something else added in with it. This will take place right before Beta starts off with TOR. We should also see consolidation of the servers I would say before the end of the year. Days before the release or near the time of TOR release date we will see one of these expansion come out for SWG. The wait for the GCW update is being done for a reason and that reason is hype was its redone and released SOE wants to get the most bang for the buck with a steady line of a new expansion new content and a good GCW war!

SWG and TOR will basically feed off of one another. If all lines up and SOE is in this game things will progress like this in the near future. If SOE has still a bad taste in there mouth with Lucas Arts we will not see to much movement and the GCW update will be pushed out sooner then later and no expansions.

This is just my opionon no actual facts. Im just taking this from past SOE experinces and making my own assumption on it. The 2 names I layed out here will be the ones who make the final decision on what happens and there is also one more player the lead producer and its not the lead DEV for SOE! This gu is from Lucas Arts and he makes the main calls to the 2 main SOE employees I mentioned!

Get more pet abillities than your supposed to have.



Sorry i know the title is a bit generic. Basically what this will allow you to do is hold on to extra expertise, in case your trying to fit every little expertise point in. Get full pet expertise so you can train your pet with 4 different specials. Train the pet with the 4 specials of your choice. Go respec to what ever you like. You will now have one extra pet ability. If youve got 3 points in the ability boxes in expertise, you can keep your 4 abilities. If youve got 2 points you can have 3 abilities, so on and so forth. Let me know if there are any problems or confusions.

You can train your pet level 1 abilities. And then respec to your new expertise. Then go out and get the level 5s and train it, with out the correct expertise. I just went out and made my lvl 4s into 5s.
